One or both ends are expanded to create sockets with inner diameter slightly larger than pipe outer diameter. It ensures precise alignment and enlarged bonding contact area for firmer assembly and superior sealing performance.
Straight Pipeline Joint:
Used for linear extension and connection of equal-diameter PVC pipes to maintain pipeline straightness.
Simplified Installation:
Built-in sockets eliminate separate intermediate couplings. It saves fitting cost and labor time for long-distance pipeline laying.
Manufactured from sanitary-grade virgin PVC-U (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) resin. Light-weight, high-strength, corrosion-resistant, anti-aging and non-toxic.
Uniform smooth inner bore at socket and main body reduces flow resistance, scaling and blockage for unobstructed drainage.
Leak-proof performance: Combined with dedicated PVC adhesive, the socket forms an integrated sealed joint. Selected models are supplied with solid rubber gaskets for enhanced sealing and ageing resistance.
Classification & Common Specifications
By nominal outer diameter:
D50, D75, D110, D160, D200 (D refers to nominal outer diameter in mm), covering mainstream drainage & water-supply pipe sizes.
By end configuration:
• Straight socket: One expanded socket end plus plain spigot end, mainly for pipe-to-fitting connection.
• Raised-shoulder socket: Socket with integrated raised shoulder for enhanced sealing, applied for high leak-proof-requirement working conditions.
